Barilla Holiday Park is found within the Clarence Council area of the greater Hobart Region. The area is affectionately known as the Eastern Shore to locals and is just 15 minutes from the Hobart CBD and 5 minutes from the Hobart Airport.
There are lots of short walks around the area. Tasmanians are spoilt with beautiful places to explore, so why not go where the locals go!

For Bush Tracks there are a couple of great options:
An interesting option for those who are keen to get an insight into the culture and history of the area is the Charles Darwin Trail. This circular trail has interpretive signs with details about the notes that Charles Darwin made on the area. The naturalist visited Tasmania briefly in 1836 to collect insect and geology/soil samples, with this research becoming part of his theory of evolution. The trail is a great insight into the history of our State.

A great morning walk that explores the Salamanca Market and takes in the historic areas of Salamanca and Battery Point.

A lovely, easy day out for all abilities. Be enchanted by the beautiful Russell Falls waterfall in Mount Field National Park.
